Door Switch/Security Sensor

The security sensor is a magnetic on / off switch, which closes when one half of the sensor is in close proximity to its mate. It is designed to be mounted on doors or windows. When the two sensor pairs are moved apart from each other they open. The base unit senses this closure and opening, and reports the condition.

It works with all SensorHawk (SensorHawk2, SensorHawk8 and SensorHawk8/20) and SecurityHawk Base Units.

SNMP traps and sensor polling available (MIB file supplied).

Important Note: All sensors must be connected to a Base Unit in order to function properly. They cannot be connected directly into a network switch or hub.
