I want to receive an alert message when a problem is detected. How can Enviromon appliances notify me?

Enviromon appliances can notify you via email messages, through management protocols such as SNMP and SYSLOG, or even with optional sirens and strobes.

Are your products upgradable / expandable?

Yes!  Unlike other manufacturers, all of our sensors, attachments and peripherals work with our entire product line, which means you can keep all of your existing sensors when you upgrade to a larger base control unit. Firmware on your SensorHawk units can be updated through using a simple graphical tool.

Will your products work with my network management / monitoring system?

Yes!  All SensorHawk base systems and smart sensors support industry standard monitoring and management protocols such as SNMP, SYSLOG and NTP. Click here for more information on integrating SensorHawk appliances into network monitoring and management software.

Can your products operate in a standalone fashion?

Yes!  SensorHawk units do not have to be connected directly to a PC, server or other device. They do, however, require a network connection and an available IP address to assign to the unit.

Do I need to install local software on my server or workstation?

No!   All SensorHawk systems have a web based user interface, so the only software required to access and manage them is a modern web browser such as Internet Explorer or Firefox.

Do your sensors require their own power source?

No!   All SensorHawk smart sensors receive power through the connecting CAT5 ethernet cable.
